Where is MALAIKARAISS based?
MALAIKARAISS is based in Berlin. Our showroom, the MALAIKARAISS Apartment, is located at Rigaer Straße 84, 10247 Berlin, and welcomes visitors by appointment.
What defines the MALAIKARAISS style?
MALAIKARAISS creates contemporary womenswear with a feminine, playful and refined approach. Our collections are designed to work from day to evening, with pieces that can be combined across seasons.
Dresses & Occasionwear
Where can I find minimalist floor-length dresses for special occasions?
Yes. Dress Bella is a floor-length, bias-cut slip dress with a V-neck, low back and adjustable straps. Its front and back flounces add movement, and the longer front flounce can be draped in different ways. The design is listed in butter cream and liquorice.
Does MALAIKARAISS offer dresses with adjustable or versatile styling?
Dress Giada is a calf-length cotton coat-dress with a relaxed fit and a removable belt. Front press studs, side pockets and adjustable sleeve belts offer practical details and different styling options. It is made in Europe from 100% cotton.
What types of dresses does MALAIKARAISS offer for weddings and special occasions?
MALAIKARAISS offers a selection of contemporary dresses for weddings and special occasions, including elegant slip dresses, flowing maxi dresses and refined silhouettes. Our designs combine feminine details with modern cuts, offering versatile options for wedding guests, evening events and other special occasions.
Does MALAIKARAISS offer dresses suitable for both daytime and evening occasions?
Yes, MALAIKARAISS offers versatile dresses designed to transition effortlessly from day to evening. With contemporary silhouettes, refined details and timeless designs, our dresses can be styled for everyday wear, dinner occasions or special events.
Materials & Responsible Production
Where are MALAIKARAISS garments produced?
We manufacture garments in Poland, Ukraine, Portugal and Germany and visit our production partners regularly. Material sourcing includes suppliers in Portugal and Italy.
Does MALAIKARAISS use deadstock and recycled materials?
We reuse our own deadstock for repurposing and re-fibering. Recycled gold and silver are also part of our jewellery production. Materials vary by design, so please refer to the individual product description for the composition of a specific piece.
How does MALAIKARAISS design clothing for long-term wear?
We develop versatile silhouettes and refine existing designs from our archive. Our approach focuses on durable materials, construction and long-term wearability, while considering repairability and recyclability during product development.
Moomin x MALAIKARAISS
Where can I find Moomin jewellery by MALAIKARAISS?
Our Moomin x MALAIKARAISS collection is available through our online shop. The range includes necklaces, hoop earrings and charm bracelets featuring characters such as Moomintroll, Little My and Snufkin. Please check the individual product pages for availability.
What is the Standing Moomintroll necklace made from?
The Standing Moomintroll necklace has a sterling silver chain and a brass pendant plated with 24-carat gold. Made in Germany, it features a 45 cm chain and a pendant measuring approximately 2 × 1 cm.
How should I care for the Standing Moomintroll necklace?
Avoid direct contact with water, soap, perfume and abrasive or other chemical products. Follow the care information on the product page to look after the necklace and its gold-plated pendant.
Bridal
Does MALAIKARAISS offer minimalist silk wedding dresses?
Freya Silk is a made-to-order bridal dress in 100% silk satin. The sleeveless, fitted design has a cowl neckline, side gathering and a mid-calf hem. It is made in Europe.
How long does a made-to-order bridal dress take?
Several made-to-order bridal styles, including Freya Silk, Aimee Bridal and Virgo Silk, list a lead time of 5–8 weeks. Check the details of your chosen dress and confirm your wedding date with our team before ordering.
Can I try on MALAIKARAISS bridalwear in Berlin?
Yes. Bridal fittings take place at our showroom at Rigaer Straße 84, 10247 Berlin. The first appointment lasts one hour and is complimentary. You may bring up to two guests; please let us know in advance.
Can MALAIKARAISS bridal dresses be altered or customised?
Yes. Alterations can be discussed during your fitting. Made-to-order pieces offer fabric and detail options that may affect the price; two fittings and minor adjustments are included. A follow-up consultation for ready-to-wear bridal costs €49 plus tailoring. Slip dresses and redesign changes are not included in the made-to-order offer.
What should I bring to my bridal fitting?
We recommend nude underwear, as some fabrics are delicate or semi-transparent. If you have already chosen your wedding shoes, please bring them. Suitable shoes are also available at the studio for the fitting.
Can I return or exchange a made-to-order bridal dress?
Made-to-order bridal dresses that are individually customised or made to your specifications may be excluded from returns and exchanges. For further information about your specific order, please contact us at shop@malaikaraiss.com.
How far in advance should I book my bridal appointment?
We recommend booking your bridal appointment at least one week in advance and allowing at least one month before your wedding for any potential alterations. For made-to-order bridal dresses, timelines vary depending on individual requirements, so we recommend contacting us as early as possible.
Shopping & Delivery
Can I book a studio appointment or arrange local pickup in Berlin?
Visits to the MALAIKARAISS Apartment at Rigaer Straße 84 are by appointment. Contact shop@malaikaraiss.com to arrange your visit.
Does MALAIKARAISS ship internationally?
Yes. Our online shop offers shipping within Germany, to the EU and worldwide. Delivery options and costs depend on the destination. Orders sent outside the EU may incur additional customs duties and taxes.
Can I try on ready-to-wear pieces at the studio?
Yes, ready-to-wear pieces can be tried on at our Berlin studio by appointment. However, we kindly ask that you only book a fitting if you are interested in trying on several pieces, as we are currently unable to accommodate appointments for individual items.

To keep your MALAIKARAISS garments in good condition, we recommend following the care instructions on each item's label. Care requirements vary depending on the fabric and design. For delicate materials, we recommend gentle handling and professional cleaning where appropriate. If you have any questions about caring for a specific piece, feel free to contact us.
Where can I find previous collections or archive pieces?
We regularly host sample sales featuring selected pieces from past collections, celebrating over 15 years of MALAIKARAISS designs. These events offer a unique opportunity to discover archive styles and previous collections. Stay tuned for upcoming sample sale announcements.
